Guess where I was on Wednesday night?

4 June 2008
Avril Lavigne in concert
(North Greenwich @ The O2 Arena, L'Angleterre)
As some of you may already know, we attended Avril Lavigne live at the O2 arena.
There she was, all 23 years of her, in her pink and black and skull-esque get up, mascara and black nails, pink piano and guitar in its full glory. We were there, amidst thousands of little Avril Lavigne wannabes, complete with pink streak down their pretty blond heads, doting parents ambling down on a school night and singing along with their 123987243 daughters to her somewhat jarring music. Case on point, picture above of loving parents taking a picture of their three little Avril Lavigne-like daughters holding the banner 'I (love) you Avril'
Granted, she did have an excellent excellent voice, but the days of Aaron Kwok, Andy Lau and Take That chasing are too far behind.
Indeed, I have never seen so many hot pink and black stripey leggings and sweaters congregate in one single room!
